RYAN MICHELMAN, ESQ.
Ryan Michelman commenced apprenticeship with the firm in 1996, while attending law school. He received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from Cal State University Northridge in 1996 and a Juris Doctor Degree from Loyola Law School in 1999.
On December 6, 1999 Ryan was admitted to practice before all the Courts of the State of California and the United States District Court - Central District. Since being admitted to the bar, Ryan has expanded the firms practice to include real estate, business and corporate matters.
Ryan is an accomplished attorney specializing in real estate and business matters with over 22 years experience representing a diverse portfolio of clients. Ryan has extensive knowledge and experience in negotiation and drafting all real estate, business and corporate transactions.
Ryan serves as primarly legal counsel for numerous developers, contractors and real estate investors. Ryan also serves as general counsel for numerous businesses and companies and has assisted countless clients in the formation of their corporations and LLC's, as well as assisting them with all of their operational issues post-incorporation.
Ryan also has considerable litigation experience having spent his entire career prosecuting and/or defending clients in State Court, Arbitrations and Bankruptcy Court litigation ranging from small to complex multi-million dollar matters. With a proven track record, Ryan prides himself on being able to provide his clients with cost effective legal representation with results.

Successfully defended client against BK trustee’s attempt to obtain entry of a $9M stipulated judgment as an unenforceable penalty under CA law.

Successfully defended developer against $2M deficiency judgment in lender’s judicial foreclosure action and obtain voluntary dismissal with prejudice from lender.

Successfully prosecuted action against client’s mortgage broker and lender arising out of $1M fraudulent lines of credit taken against client’s home resulting in liens being voluntarily removed by lender.

Successfully prosecuted action on behalf of homeowner against lender fraud resulting in cancellation and removal of 3 separate deeds of trusts in excess of $500k.

Successfully defended foreclosure on mechanic’s lien action resulting in cancellation and removal of $637k mechanic’s lien against commercial building and dismissal of suit.

Successfully defended multiple clients' against a $700k fraud lawsuit resulting in the complaint being stricken, the entire case being dismissed with prejudice and sanctions being awarded in favor of clients' against plaintiff and plaintiff’s counsel.

Prevailed on summary judgment motion on behalf of plaintiff commercial property owners against defaulting buyers resulting in $200k judgment.

Pursued recovery with CLSB on behalf of homeowner against pool contractor for construction defects resulting in $80k being paid to client without having to file suit.

Successfully represented client in a partnership dispute against two Russian Oil Companies resulting in an extremely favorable six figure settlement to client on the first day of trial.
